Laser Leveling in the Earthbag House

There are a few key tools that Keith has used in the process of building the earthbag house which we have found extremely helpful and time-saving. One such tool is the laser level.

Keith used the laser level as he was building the walls, to make sure that they stayed perfectly level all the way around (he checked each night after dark, since you really can’t see it in sunlight). He also uses it, as you will see in the video below, to level out interior features such as built-in shelves.

The laser also works vertically, making it handy for ensuring the walls are nice and straight.

I’m sure we will get more use out of it when we put in the earthen floor.
